Overview
FuelMap Sri Lanka started from a simple frustration: driving from station to station hoping to find fuel. The app pulls live availability, queue status and pump prices for 700+ fuel stations across the island and shows them on a colour-coded map — green for fuel available, red for finished, yellow for not yet updated.
I built it as a single Flutter codebase with an anti-spoofing layer for crowd-sourced reports, a contributor leaderboard with points, promo-code referrals, a mileage tracker and a fuel-cost calculator. Favourite up to three regular stations and get a push notification the moment fuel arrives.
Outcomes
- 700+ Ceypetco, IOC & Sinopec stations on a live map
- Live queue status + pump prices, updated by contributors
- Favourites with push alerts when fuel arrives
- Contributor leaderboard, promo codes & anti-spoofing system
