Overview
LPL Concept is a case study in what a modern sports-league website could look like. I reimagined the Lanka Premier League's web presence as 'LPL Connect' — a premium, fan-centric platform with an interactive player draft hub, a Gemini-powered AI cricket assistant, a fan zone with polls and quizzes, and deep tournament analytics: stats, milestone trackers and historical head-to-head records.
This is a web platform concept, not a mobile app. It was built with Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB and Tailwind CSS, secured with JWT auth and strict rate limiting, scoring 96 on Lighthouse performance and 100 on accessibility, best practices and SEO.
Outcomes
- Web-only platform concept — no mobile app
- Interactive player draft hub + fan zone
- AI cricket assistant powered by Gemini
- Lighthouse 96 performance / 100 a11y, best practices, SEO
